do you recall the day we came home victorious flying so high such a bright shining glorious future ahead i remember you said we are brave we are young no man shall take from us what we have won with our own blood and gun we'll keep this world free but we kept for ourselves the freedom that we should have given away theres times now more frequent i'm tempted to say i want no more part in this game Just look at us now take a look at what we've become behind the disguise all these lies and now i despise it all and i despise myself

i the sun 03:16
out there somewhere theres a teacup in a storm there are molehills in the distance and i've got mountains in my lawn theres a little boy crying with a tall glass of milk there are tears in his eyes but theres no milk been split its just so hard to get it all right when your ears can't see what your eyes can hear there too much wind and light i the sun the one the only i shine on all of those below me though sometimes up here i get to feel so lonely i know that i must shine from up here i can see for miles so clearly for miles all around and you all seem so small like i could crush you all between my fingertips and i laugh cos i'm so tall laughing as i fall i can see it all so clearly so clearly so briefly i can everything

the hand 06:01
there is a hand its a hand that will break you and bruise you a hand that will bring you down will take you and melt you in the crucible theres a hand and an eye there is a hand its a hand that will hold you and heal you a hand that will lead you home will take you in and clothe you and feed you the same hand the same eye

mumble 03:20
some say our days are short and are numbered they say that our world will surely soon crumble i've heard it suggested that one must crawl to be humble like you gotta keep your ear low to hear god lest he mumble but as for me its for these words that I fumble to say that I love that i want to love that i want to be free to love that i want to be set free to love

about

Basically this album is an offshoot of the previous 'Dragonfly' album ... it draws a lot from the live looping and material recorded around that time.

Whereas 'Dragonfly' restrained itself to the exploration of looped sounds and textures from a single instrument, this collection of songs, while growing out of that same base (lots of tapping, loops and ebow), intentionally moves in another direction ... incorporating various instruments and voice along the way.
